A small software house

I build small, precise instruments.

One maker, focused apps that do one thing and do it cleanly. No clutter, no accounts, nothing you did not ask for.

Instruments, not bloatware. Every app earns its place on your screen.

The instruments

One kit. More instruments over time.

Each app is built to be read in a glance and trusted in the moment. One job, done well, then it gets out of your way. Here is what is live and what is on the bench.

On the bench. New tools are in the workshop. I ship them when they are ready, not before.

How I build

Precision first. Everything else off the screen.

01

One job, done well.

Every app has a single purpose and no second agenda. If a feature does not serve that purpose, it does not ship.

02

Read in a glance.

I design for the moment you actually look, not the demo screenshot. Big, clear, honest.

03

Yours, not mine.

No accounts to create, no clutter to manage, no data games. The app works for you and then leaves you alone.

The workshop

A workshop, not a factory.

I am one person building software the way a good tool is made, carefully and with a use in mind. Inner Skill Set is that workshop. I make small, precise instruments that solve a real problem and then stay out of the way. I would rather ship one app that earns its place on your screen than ten that fight for your attention. Right now that means Garmin Connect IQ, with more platforms possible as the work grows.
