Privacy policy
In short: I collect as little as possible. I do not sell your data. I do not run advertising trackers. If you email me or join the list, I use what you send only to do the thing you asked for.
Who I am
Inner Skill Set is a one person software house. To reach me about your data, use the contact form or write to hello@innerskillset.com.
What I collect and why
- Newsletter signup. If you join the list, I store your email address so I can send you the occasional update. That is the only thing I use it for.
- Contact form. When you write to me, I receive your name, email, and message, plus anything else you choose to include, such as your watch model. I use it to answer you and to fix or improve the apps.
- Analytics. I use privacy friendly, cookieless analytics to see roughly how many people visit and which pages they read. It does not follow you around the web and does not build a profile of you.
What I do not do
- I do not sell or rent your data.
- I do not run advertising or social media trackers.
- I do not need an account, so there is no password or profile to lose.
The Deadreckon app
Your trips are recorded on your watch and sync to Garmin Connect, which is Garmin’s service under Garmin’s own privacy terms. Inner Skill Set does not collect your location, your routes, or your trip data. Please read Garmin’s privacy policy for how they handle activity data.
How long I keep things
I keep your email on the list until you unsubscribe. I keep contact messages as long as I need them to help you, then I clear them out.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from any email using the link in it. You can ask me what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it, and I will.
Changes
If this policy changes, I will update it here and change the date below.
